He has a special interest in lower body biomechanics, especially with regards to the age old debate over load vs capacity. His patients benefit from the professional network he’s formed which allows him access to the state’s top specialists and surgeons.
Mick is famous for his stories (to describe injuries and treatment) which could fill a book (Title pending: ‘Expressions of Interest’) and loves working with people to help them restore their own love of life! He constantly reminds his staff (and the world) of three simple statements that form the backbone of our existence: (1) Do good always; (2) Don’t be too concerned with first world problems; and (3) When asked how you are, always answer “amazing, wonderful or exceptional”.
Although he never really leaves work, Mick runs marathons in his spare time and is a proud father that’s loves all things family and community.
