Scott Muttdon

Position: Owner / Operations Manager / Illawarra Hawks NBL Head Physio
Location: Kiama, Wollongong, Woonona

Scott has been with BaiMed since 2009 and is one of the owners. Originally based at the Wollongong clinic, he left to open the Woonona clinic in 2012 and then the Kiama clinic in 2015. His interest in holistic biomechanical based treatment, means Scott’s primary focus is on injury prevention and athletic development, and loves working with people in a team based environment to create positive change.
Outside work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family including amazing, supportive, understanding wife Sarah and two kids – boisterous, strong-willed, fiercely independent son Will and gentle natured, quiet, gorgeous daughter Nellie.

Jane Katkjaer
Position: Yoga instructor / Physiotherapist
Qualifications: BSc Physiotherapy (Uni of Sydney) and two-year Dansk Yoga Certificate (Copenhagen).
Jane joined BaiMed in 2016 upon returning to Australia after 20 years living and working in Hong Kong, Denmark and Dubai.
Jane’s interest and experience is in exercise-prescription training based on in-depth yoga theory and practice. Her passion lies with the relationship between breath control, yoga and physiotherapy. She teaches PhysioYoga in Kiama combining these practices to give clients maximum benefit for their own sport or lifestyle.
In her free time, she is pounding the laps of the Kiama outdoor pools with her husband, or driving their daughter to her various swim meets.

Matt Cook
Position: Physiotherapist

- Diploma of Health and Rehabilitation Science (Charles Sturt University)
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Western Sydney University)
Matt Cook is a dedicated physiotherapist based in his hometown of Kiama. Born and raised in this vibrant coastal community, he developed a passion for sports and rehabilitation, which led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Matt enjoys treating sporting injuries and works diligently to support athletes and individuals of all ages in their recovery and rehabilitation.
With a strong commitment to his local community, Matt actively participates in health initiatives such as the Kiama Parkinson’s Disease Support Group, promoting wellness and exercise to improve quality of life. Outside of work, Matt enjoys surf boat rowing, golf, and rugby union.

Dionne Anslow
Position: Dietitian
Dionne is a qualified Australian Practicing Dietitian (APD), completing a Bachelor of Nutrition Science and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong.
Dionne is an evidenced based dietitian, using nutrition as part of a holistic approach to healthcare.
Dionne has is passionate in helping people take a proactive approach to their health by creating healthy eating practices and positive relationships with food. Dionne has experience in weight management, Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, disordered eating, gut health, women’s health and more! Dionne is also trained in the use of the low FODMAP diet for IBS by Monash University.
Dionne brings a positive and realistic approach to food and nutrition, and enjoys working with clients, providing individually tailored and practical advice to take control of their health.

Bernadette Samson
Position: Massage Therapist
Qualifications: Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy. Myofascial Cupping
Bernadette grew up Sydney and has recently moved to the South-Coast to escape the hustle and bustle. She is very much looking forward to a change of pace. Completing her Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy she has worked with other Allied health professionals.
Her interest in body mechanics and having experienced the benefits firsthand has led her to pursue a career in massage. Working with a range of clients from children, elderly to athletes and people with chronic conditions. She is very passionate about helping her clients achieve a better quality of life. Offering a wide range of therapy from relaxation, sports, lymphatic drainage, injury prevention and overall assisting in relieving body aches and pain.
In her spare time Bernie is a bit of a foodie and loves to cook for family and friends. Trying out her green thumb and started a veggie garden she has become Bunnings regular on weekends. She has a cheeky 11-year-old daughter (Lily) that keeps her on her toes.

Trent Cooksley
Title: Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Science: Exercise Science and Human Performance (McMurry University, Texas) 2021, Master of Physiotherapy (USYD) 2023
Born and raised in Wollongong, Trent grew up immersed in sport—playing soccer for the Woonona Sharks, as well as tennis, golf, swimming, school footy, cricket, and AFL. By age 13, he had focused his attention on golf, eventually earning a place in the IAS Golf Program during his final year of high school.
His talent on the course led to a scholarship to study and play college golf in Abilene, Texas, USA. It was during this time—after experiencing a few injuries and being treated by his athletic trainer—that he discovered a passion for physiotherapy.
Trent has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, working with clients of all ages—from kids to adults. He has a particular passion for acute injury management and supporting golfers through injury and performance.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, catching waves, or relaxing with friends.

Heath Turner
Position: Physiotherapist
Heath’s passion for movement and the gym sparked his journey in physiotherapy. Witnessing the transformative power of exercise on his own well-being, he was inspired to empower others on their path to optimal health.
Since qualifying in 2019, Heath has gained a wealth of experience working with patients across Sydney, the Shoalhaven, and the Illawarra. His background as a sports trainer
and physiotherapist has equipped him to effectively guide individuals towards achieving their specific goals.
Outside the clinic, you might find Heath hitting the gym, glued to a Formula 1 race, or tackling some backyard renovations.

Cara French
Position: Physiotherapist
Qualifications: Doctor of Physiotherapy – University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Science (Honours) – University of Wollongong, Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science and Nutrition) – University of Wollongong, currently completing Masters of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) at the University of South Australia.

Bio:
Growing up in Kiama, Cara spent most of her early life swimming and doing surf lifesaving. While studying in Melbourne, she worked with a variety of elite sporting teams in both AFL and Baseball. After university, Cara worked in private practice in Melbourne, where she had the opportunity to specialise in swimming, working as Physio for Nunawading and MLC Swimming teams. This led to a range of further opportunities working with elite swimmers.
Cara has presented education seminars on injury prevention, improving performance and the importance of screening to swim coaches and athletes at the Victorian Institute of Sport, various Victorian swimming training camps, the ASCTA conference and the GH Australian Swimming Gold Squad training camp.
She relocated from Melbourne to join the BaiMed Team in December 2015. Outside work of course Cara loves swimming, but she also enjoys cooking, reading, and food.
