Our approach focuses on the musculoskeletal changes that happen during pregnancy, after birth, and through menopause. We assess how your body is moving, identify what’s driving your pain or discomfort, and build a treatment and exercise plan to support you, whatever stage you’re at.

We don’t provide internal pelvic floor assessment or treatment. If your symptoms would benefit from this kind of care, we’ll refer you to an appropriate specialist.

How is a Women’s Health appointment different from other physio visits at BaiMed?

Women’s Health appointments begin with an extended initial consultation. This gives you the opportunity to share your story, undergo a thorough assessment, and work with your clinician to develop a personalised recovery plan.

Can I bring my baby or child?

Yes, babies and children are welcome in our clinics. If you’re attending with a newborn, we recommend bringing a pram or capsule to ensure your baby is safe and comfortable during your session. Feeding (breast or bottle) is welcome at any time, and nappy change facilities are available.

Do I need to be pregnant or postpartum to book a Women’s Health appointment?

No. Our Women’s Health physiotherapists also treat musculoskeletal changes associated with menopause, including joint pain and bone density concerns, using exercise programming tailored to strength and bone health. Our team supports women through all changes in their lives, no matter the age.
